| This might be a bit intimidating at first glance, however the Mage Academy Roleplaying Forums holds very high standards for their records and application records in order to avoid plot holes. Please keep in mind, that the higher Position you try to register your Character as, the more demanding and detailed that your Application actually has to be. A Freelance Mage application will need more detail and development then a Student/Prefect application, and so on so forth: Staff needs better then Freelance Mage, and Headmaster has to be extremely, extremely detailed in order to be accepted. Other than the various already existing positions, users are welcome to 'create' newer positions in relation to the lore and so on. General Full Name: Nickname(s): Age: (A character's age in this is chronological, meaning for how many years they've lived off the standard (Gregorian) calendar. If your character has experienced some sort of suspended animation and has survived through out the ages in natural or artificial stasis, put their biological age in this field while putting their years of existence in brackets.)Sex: (The biological sex of your character. Male, Female, Other, etc.)Species: (Using Fantasy terms, this is race, referring to species such as humans, elves, orcs, etc. There are limits to this, see here for them.)Nationality: (This refers to the nation that your character originated from, regarding geological landscape. There are many things that allow this to be flexible and not affect your character, and the same goes for the opposite.)Sexual Orientation: (This refers to who, in terms of gender, the characters are attracted towards. It can be Heterosexual, Homosexual, Bisexual, or Asexual.)Appearance - Image:

The follow is typed in a list format and in spoken English, followed by numbers and abbreviations in parentheses. For example: One hundred and twelve pound. (112 lbs.)
If you are unable to measure with certain units from off your head, you are free to use any accurate converter on the internet.Height: (Your character's height, preferably in cm)Weight: (You're character's weight, preferably in lbs) Eye Color: (Eye color? In Mage Academy we encourage you to use two or three words to describe your eye color, linking it to objects that share a similar color.)Hair Color: (How about Hair color? Unlike the previous fields, this section is optionally typed in a very descriptive paragraph.)
(Explain, in detail, your character's appearance, and how it can very daily or through certain activities/spells/etc. Two [2] paragraphs minimum, and their bodily appearance as well as common outfits must be described. A character's appearance must be typed from a 3rd person's perspective, in a style that would fit 'narration' about them, as if you yourself were talking about them.)
(Future reference, what counts as a paragraph here on Mage Academy, is five [5] sentences. No less.)
Personality
Three [3] is the minimal number of likes, dislikes and fears must have each have. If you wish, you may add more of them, be sure to provide detail and any necessary information relating to your choices.
(In this area, explain your character's personality. Please be sure to be descriptive and informative. A character's personality should never be made in such a way to just 'fill' a role, therefore should be a fully fleshed-out character with different reactions to different things, with some exceptions of course. They should be made to feel believable and should have a strong point and a weak point. Two Paragraph minimum is require for this field.)
History
(This is the nasty part of your application. Here, you have to write a detailed explanation of your Character's past, leading up to the current day in age. Feel free to use the timeline and lore reference in the Beginner's guide to assist you. You can either type history in the format of narration or as if it were a document of their history, such as a biography. Three [3] paragraphs minimum.)
Fighting Style: (In this area, tell us about your Character's fighting style. Look at other member's approved applications if you have trouble with what to put into here. This usually matches up with your stats above. If it does not, staff may ask you to change your stats or fighting style.)Miscellaneous - Other:

(If there is any other information that you think is important, but doesn't fit anywhere else, put it here. Blood Type: (A character's blood type rarely will be taken into consideration for roleplay purposes, and it serves no technical purpose other than to be another fact of your character, and can be referenced to as you see fit.)Items of Significance: (Any items that are significant to your character.
