Distinguishing Features: Besides it looks like a monster, people with "the sight" or uses reveling magic will only see a shapeless solid black thing. Simply being near it introduces fear.
[Duqu's appearance is actually a spell placed on him so he would appear to be human, because a human is more likely to be able to blend in than a monster is with human society. The spell placed on him is a cover for his true form as well as a container for the unstable underside. The spell has him appear as a early twenty looking man that has fine blond hair and bright blue eyes, but he can request that it is changed. To better his mission a charm that makes him unexplained attractive has also been placed on him. His clothes change from day to day as the spell fluxes to show different outfits. Any wounds will disappear from sight whenever the spell fluxes and the outfit with change, sort of like a reset button. The covering spell is not perfect and some flaws do present their selves occasionally, and sometimes the spell with reset at a random time, making him appear to have changed clothing spontaneously. (Note: wounds are not healed, just removed from sight)
His combat form, or more commonly addressed as his monster form, is a secondary mold for his unstable body. After the first cover spell is stopped this one with kick in. This secondary form was created for combat rather than his mission of infiltration. Appearance was not thought to be as important and the showing black body is apparent of this belief. A cracked heart shaped seal shows on his chest. To better help him in his mission a charm that introduces fear was cast on this form, and the presence of it is unnerving.
Duqu has a last form, called the catalysis form. If the seal on his chest is broken, by himself or outside forces, his unstable body comes out the shell of the body. This form is highly unstable and can change rapidity and randomly. All most no documentation exists about this form and the only known survivor to see it was traumatized and unable to communicate what he saw. (See incident B8:XX:F2)]
Personality
[uqu's persnality is diffictult to picture directly due to the nature of his work. Most people see the most outer layer that he shows, the persnality most asosiated with his "human" form.
His most outer personality is one that is both charming and strong willed. He will gladly help with relevent tasks given to him. He will try to take advanted of the charming charm placed placed on him to gain the trust and secrets of other people. He can be a little too intrusive at times, after all, he is collecting integentce at all times.
He also has a friendly approach to strangers and anyone who asks him for help and advice, unless he has a grudge against you. Or he does not like you. Or your genetic background is unfitting. Or your not a supporter of his organization. In this case you can expect him to occur many delays that prevent him form helping you in a timely manor. But, hay, he still is charming.
When it comes to his academy job, he is very serious about it. He treats anyone that comes to him, even if he does not like them, to the best of his displayed ability. He is good at his job and does his best to expand his field of knowledge. When doing his job, he is good at it and there is little to complain about.
He claims that his revealed form is an after effect of his experiments and he also claims to be hunting the black winged monster. (which really is him)
When he is in his monster form, he acts like a smart monster. When in the castalist form, he has no control over himself. ]
History
[Duqu was not born, he was made in a lab by forbidden and dark magic. As soon as he was determined to be stable he was experimented on. Not long later the lab was destroyed. That is all that is known about his beginning due to all data being destroyed.
Duqu was found in the rubble by a important member of the Skrypt and the shapeless mass of life was given a body, or the mold of one at least. Duqu accepted it and happy with the odd kindness of the stranger went with them. The Stranger took him to a special facility where he was "humanized". Able to communicate and understand Duqu became a formal member of the Skrypt.
Once in the Skrypt, Duqu realized, that without human weakness, he would be very protected from the effects of curses and hexes. He put extensive study into this field and his rapid mastery was noticed by high command. He was put into a speail task force, and after many successful missions, he was appointed to the rank of commander.
With field and leadership experience the inhuman Duqu proved to me molded just right. During turmoil at the Mage Academy located in the pacific ocean a forger made documents to make Duqu a Staff member. This documents gave entirely false information about his race, history, and other important things. Anyone who questioned it conveniently died, allowing Duqu to slip in without too much difficulty.
Now part of the Academy, Duqu is working on gaining followers and creating a uprising to take the place under Skrypt control. He is still subject to orders though and will complete these during his stay. He also works to keep the Skrypt's operations undiscovered. ]

Fighting Style: Duqu likes to avoid combat and talk his way out of situations, not because he is a coward, but to better avoid reveling his true power. If a fight is unavoidable then he will hold back as much as possible.
In all fights he will try to wither his opponents with hexes and avoid getting into danger. A long fight is to his advantage and he will use that to his advantage. This does not mean he will just run when in a tight spot though, and if that happens his spear will quickly show that he is not helpless.
His spear strategy is much different and he changes up his plan greatly when it comes out. He will often take the offensive and put pressure on his opponent with it and try to force them off so he can continue hexing the fight out of his target. Fighting him takes both strong mental and physical ability.
